The Neptune’s Ocean Discovery Jumper is for our nearly five-month-old child, who turns five next week. Although the directions state six months, he has worn one before at our daycare, and I have witnessed others wear one earlier. If you’ve used one, when did you start using it?
To help you make an informed choice, I would advise you to at least hear the warnings pediatric physical therapists have regarding jumpers.
I also second this Lucas.
We began at about four and a half months; he could reach the floor and had good neck and core strength. Especially at the beginning, we had very stringent time limits: no more than five minutes, and only once a day.
Approximately 4 or 5 months for brief periods of time.
When I tried mine at five months, my guy was simply not maintaining enough head stability. I believe it was caused by the torticollis problems he was also experiencing. He enjoys it and does well in it, so we gave it another go around six or seven months after taking a hiatus. There were stringent time constraints as well. No more than fifteen minutes every day.
Thank you so much for the responses i think I will go ahead and try it.
