What you wish you knew—Flying with baby advice please!

Hello everyone This month, I will be taking my 10-month-old on my first flight. I would appreciate any advice or helpful hints you have for other parents who have recently taken their infants on an aircraft. What would you have liked to know beforehand?

Flying with a baby can be an adventure, but with some planning and preparation, it can be a smoother experience for both of you but if your baby is young (under 2 months), it’s a good idea to get clearance from your doctor before flying.

Ideally, waiting until your baby is 2-3 months old can help minimize their exposure to germs and earaches during takeoff and landing.

Use hand sanitizing wipes to clean the entire space so you don’t have to worry about the baby touching everything the whole time. Bring small toys that don’t make noise.
