What’s Your Current Favorite Bedtime Book for Kids?

Hi everyone…

I’m looking to add some new books to our bedtime library and would love to hear what your current favorites are. Right now, my 6-month-old and I are enjoying On The Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman—such a beautiful book!

I’d love to hear what books you’re reading to your little ones, especially those that are great for bedtime. Any recommendations for calming, sweet stories that you and your kiddos love would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance for sharing your favorites

Llama Llama Red Pajama has been my son’s favorite book for over a year now. We’ve recently discovered The Goodnight Train, and we’re really enjoying it.

I’m not sure if Llama Llama is my favorite or my daughter’s, but it’s definitely a big hit in our household.

Also recommend The Goodnight Train.

My toddler thinks any book read before bed qualifies as a bedtime book. For a while, it was the ABCs of D&D and the 123s of D&D. She also enjoys Little Blue Truck and several dragon-themed books. Right now, we’re reading five different Halloween books at bedtime.

May I recommend My First Adventure: Finding the Dragon? It’s a choose-your-own-adventure book that my nearly 4-year-old loves.

Starting them off with a strong D&D foundation early, I see, well done :joy:

I chose any of the Hungry Caterpillar, Sesame Street, Bluey, or Llama Llama books. Those series are gems for me and my children! We also enjoy classics such as The Little Engine That Could and Goodnight Moon, and I read him his children’s Bible books. We really love to read; he loves books just as much as I do!
