I’m searching for additional (non-religious) books to include in the baby’s library. I have the basics like “Goodnight Moon,” “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” “The Very Busy Spider,” “That’s Not My Dinosaur,” and a collection of Dr. Seuss books. I’ve recently purchased “The Giving Tree” and “Clyde Monster,” but I’m eager to broaden the selection. What are your top picks? I’m open to any suggestions as long as they don’t include religious themes or messages about praying, and they’re not anti-LGBT.
hallo folks When selecting books for your baby, take into consideration their preferences and interests. For instance, if your baby shows a keen interest in animals, opt for books that feature numerous animal illustrations.
Anything by Sandra Boynton is a hit with us, but “The Barnyard Dance” and “Your Personal Penguin” are our absolute favorites at the moment.
That’s awesome that you’re expanding your baby’s library! Here are some non-religious and inclusive books that my family loves:
- “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin Jr.
- Eric Carle, “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak,
Hope @MissNicklaus This two books will help you.
The Happiest Baby on the Block" by Harvey Karp
It Offers techniques to soothe fussy babies and help them sleep better, focusing on the “fourth trimester” concept.
Here are the two books i can recommend you to buy for your LO:

“Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault - A fun, rhythmic alphabet book with vibrant illustrations.
-
“I Am a Cat” by Galia Bernstein - An endearing story that celebrates the unique personalities of different cat breeds.
