The best thing in the world

My 10-month-old wants to nurse, so he’s lying on my lap with his mouth on the boob, looking up at me while I look at him.

He slowly raises his hand, fingers stretched out, trying to touch my mouth. I pretend to “nom nom” on his finger, and he smiles and laughs, still nursing.

We repeat this for a few minutes. The way his mouth smiles while nursing is just so cute. His giggles sound slightly different this way.

I wish I could hold onto this exact moment forever.

This is the best feeling in the world.

The smile around the boob is truly the most adorable thing. Mine sometimes does it when she’s finished; she’ll smile and let go of the latch slightly as she falls off to sleep, and omg. I melt.

Omds, sameee. He has been doing this since birth! I melt every time. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I am done breastfeeding my babies, but these are the moments I miss.

My 18-month-old began wanting to nurse, latch, blow raspberries on my nipple, giggle while still partially latched, and repeat.

Nursing laughing is adorable, but it can be challenging to get them to sleep. Then it’s less adorable, but still cute.

The only downfall is sometimes he laughs so hard he bites :grimacing: lol

Mine has started babbling with her boob in her mouth, and when I respond, she smiles. It melts my heart.

Today, my eight-month-old and I had the exact identical exchange. That side giggle makes everything worthwhile!

I’m now nursing my 5-month-old child, and it’s the finest thing in the world! His new trick is blowing raspberries when my boob is still in his mouth. Milk everywhere. :joy:

Arguably the greatest thing in the world.

I adore it when my three-month-old wakes up and greets me with a genuine “nice to see you, Dad” smile.

She acts like way most mornings.

Mornings are pleasant these days.

This was my favorite, and rereading it brings back so many good memories. Thank you, OP.

Cross-referenced identification. He’s attempting to repay you for nursing him.

My 6-month-old smiles when we make eye contact while breastfeeding. Sometimes she forgets to swallow before smiling, and milk comes out of her lips :rofl:.

My 3 week old smiles on my boob sometimes. It’s so precious.

My 8 month old does this too and I love it so much!
