This year, in April, our daughter will turn one, and my wife and I are at a loss for a birthday theme. While gender standards like “fairy princess” or “pretty in pink” aren’t rigorously adhered to, that’s all we see while searching for ideas online. While we have nothing against adorable parties in general, all of the themes we’ve seen are simply too corny. We would like to make our daughter’s celebration unique, even though I know she won’t remember a thing (I know I’m babbling, been up all night). What I actually want to know is, what are some unconventional themes? Although her birthday falls a few days after Easter, we’re not quite sure.
We performed Taco 'bout One. Margaritas and a taco bar, for the grownups, obviously. It was quite popular!
We also had Fiesta because we were craving tacos and margaritas We just didn’t thought of the clever moniker. Well done!
I have witnessed COVID themes for first birthdays, Wild One, and my absolute favorite, a birthday theme involving a TV remote. That was the main idea. The LO was given a television remote, which he cheerfully wore about, and the cake was shaped like a TV remote. Choose something your daughter is overly passionate about, and then indulge her in it. It’s going to be memorable and funny.
We’re throwing a Bobs Burgers-themed party because our son is so infatuated with the theme song
I adore this Are you wearing like Linda or Bob?
How about fruit, bees, safaris, undersea, or unicorns? Although the fruit seems strange, I found a lot of adorable things on Pinterest.
I saw a really cute watermelon theme called “one in a Mellon.”
