I am seeking more non-religious books to add to the infant library. I have the necessities, such as Goodnight Moon and the Very Hungry Caterpillar, the Very Busy Spider, which is not my dinosaur, and a slew of Dr. Seuss books, and I have just ordered the Giving Tree and the Clyde Monster, but I want to expand. Which are your favourites? As long as it does not include God or prayer and is not one of those anti-LGBT books, I am open to anything.
I am considering of acquiring a wooden climbing toy for my small one because it appears to be safer for pulling up. There are so many alternatives, though, that I am not sure which one to choose! My kid likes the Love Every tissue box from one of the play sets, but I have seen similar ones on Amazon. She also like books featuring genuine infant faces. A stainless steel bowl and metal measuring spoons were fascinating for a few days, and she enjoys playing with a plastic laundry basket full of clean clothing—it is wonderful to watch her take clothes out.
I am cautious to buy new toys since she rapidly becomes bored. Any recommendations for entertaining toys that will not break the bank?
My kid had a Pikler triangle that he liked, so he first stood up near it. But I did not realise that once my kid stood, he would be taller than the triangle. He wants to climb it, but it is not tall enough. If I knew I received a taller triangle.
