When she was born, she resembled neither of us. Three months later, she is my husband’s mini (but cuter). I keep telling him I don’t think she’s mine, lol. It’s funny how much effort we put into creating a clone of our companion. The only thing left is personality, which I am claiming!!!
I have an 18-month-old with blonde hair and blue eyes who looks nothing like myself or my father. We’ve been in a state of confusion.
MIL recently took out her own baby photos of herself. I gave birth to my MIL.
If I gave birth to my mother-in-law, she would return to her birthplace.
I did all the effort for the group project, but he gets all the credit .
you are very right Audrey
I’m Chinese and my husband is white, and this baby is so white passing it’s not even funny. He’s a mini version of his dad. I even had someone comment, “I’ve never met a half Asian baby where the Asian genes didn’t dominate…” It’s all in jest of course!
My BIL and SIL have this (and their half-Asian baby is truly blonde!) But my half-Asian baby now looks just like me (the Asian one). Lol I won
This is quite similar to my relatives! He married an Asian woman, and they had twins! One twin looks just like dad, with blonde/red hair, and the other has darker hair and is definitely Asian in appearance, just like mom. They’re almost two and adorable. Genes are insanely cool!
Wow, that’s even more wild with twins!
Ah, the same thing here! My genes have given up. I have a blonde baby. I expected dark brown/black hair like mine, but nothing.
My oldest niece’s biological mother has a son named James. This child has blonde hair and blue eyes from childhood. I’ve always taunted him as the whitest Jose I’ve ever met lmaoo. But I knew she had strong DNA because my niece looks so like to her biological mother.
My husband is Filipino, and I am Caucasian. Our infant likewise has a very white complexion! There is no evidence of any Asian genes at all. He even has light brown hair and blue-grey eyes.
When I was pregnant, I was convinced that our baby would be a miniature version of his father. I’ve never seen a white/asian infant who appears fully white before.
My daughter is my husband’s miniature clone!
She even resembles him in the 3D scan during my pregnancy.
Same!! Now fast forward 15 months, and she is still his clone in my eyes lol. Poor girl has her father’s horrible hairline. But I’m looking forward to seeing them dispute when she gets older. She is EXACTLY like him, which is amusing. I wish I knew more about myself when I was a baby, but my mother doesn’t have many memories until I was six because of a brain tumor.
