@Storm
Yeah, it’s like a cold to me, so I’m thinking he’ll be fine, especially after reading everybody’s comments.
My son got COVID at 12 weeks and basically had a low fever and a runny nose - he was fine after a day. On the other hand, I was laid the fuck out and it took me a week to recover.
My son and I both had it but he was a little older, about 12ish weeks.
We took him to his pediatrician on day 1 because of the fever and as a first-time mom I was totally freaked out & terrified! They tested him there & his ped said to breastfeed & keep his temp down. That was all the advice we got lol. Thankfully it was all we needed.
Cried for an hour on day 3 (possibly unrelated??). No coughing but did have a fever day 1 (100.4). That was it. I continued to breastfeed & he seemed fine.
My son was almost 3 months when he got it. He was sick for a day or 2 (fever, mild cough) and then was fine. On the other hand, I was unwell for like 2 weeks lol.
The day my baby was born my parents (who had been watching our toddler and living at our house while we were in the hospital) both got COVID. The doctors told us of all things, COVID is actually better than RSV or something because it’s pretty rare for newborns to get COVID. Just wash your hands and don’t kiss on the face if you can help it and he should be fine. That said, if he spikes a fever at all, you should call your pediatrician.

Keeping an eye out, thank you!
Yes, we had COVID when our LO was 4 weeks. I was strongly recommended to continue breastfeeding so baby could get all the antibodies. He never showed any symptoms. We co-slept and didn’t change our lifestyle since our midwives and doctors said it’s not common for healthy babies under a certain age (6 MO??) to contract COVID. He was fine.
All three of us got COVID when our kid was 3 months.
Our daughter was fine after a day of mild fever, but it knocked my husband and I out for a week.
The pediatrician said that babies usually fare really well.
My son just had corona and he felt much better than me, my husband and his big sister. I was also super worried but usually, the smaller the baby, the easier the course of the illness. Good luck!
