During the day, where do your newborns sleep?

Hi all! I’m a first-time mom and currently pregnant, and I’m working on my baby registry. I’ve read that babies should only sleep on flat surfaces like cribs or bassinets. Since newborns sleep a lot during the day, where do you put them down? Are bouncers, swings, Doc-a-Tot, strollers with car seat attachments, and Boppy pillows only for wake windows? Should I be moving my newborn to the bassinet in the bedroom every time they fall asleep during the day? Also, if they do fall asleep in these items, do I need to move them immediately, or is there a safe amount of time they can stay there?

For daytime naps, put your newborn in a bassinet or crib for safety. Bouncers and swings are okay for short periods, but move them to a flat surface for longer sleeps.

Anywhere I manage to get him! My favorite place is the bassinet, although occasionally he won’t. Therefore, I don’t try to nap because I’m paranoid; instead, I can choose to be on me (HIS favorite spot), in the swing, or on my bed.
