Does anyone else feel irrationally angry when their baby won't sleep in the middle of the night?

My husband doesn’t get up as much, and it makes me angry when he says not to be mad at the baby.

Do we have the same husband? :joy:

It must be universal! Even the suggestions make me angry.

I had the same problem at 9 months, but it got better. Just give it time.

I completely relate to this.

This can be fixed! Look at how much daytime sleep the baby is getting.

He gets about 2.5 hours!

I often have to wear earplugs because my anger builds up when I want to sleep.

I’m awake from 4 to 6 AM after feeding at night, feeling frustrated myself.

I feel like I’ve lost all patience with my baby.

Have you tried more daytime feeds and dropping a nap? It helped!

Sleep will be unpredictable; follow your instincts and try to go with the flow.

In a newborn stage myself. I’m considering switching to formula to get help.

Consider some sleep training methods. I found a consultant to be immensely helpful.

When my baby fusses at 9 months, it’s usually teething or oversleeping!

Sleep training could change your life. I was once too scared to try it.

I have a teething 9-month-old, and the anger is valid. Seek support!

Feeling angry at night isn’t irrational at all!

It’s better to let them cry than to let anger take over. Asking for help is okay.

You’re not alone. It’s rough when the baby won’t stop crying.
