Baby not grabbing toys at 3 months?

Hello, Pals Advice needed: Our baby is almost 3.5 months old. She focuses on toys and moves her arms towards them but only touches them occasionally, and usually with a closed fist. If we put a toy in her hand, she holds it for a few seconds before letting go. She has met all other milestones early. Any advice or similar experiences?

@Michael Very similar for my LO! And then one day, she simply understood! In just a day or two, she went from barely even reaching for toys to grabbing and holding them (briefly)!

@Salvine When LO was able to hold her head, I experienced that as well. She detested having her head pressed into the ground during our daily tummy time. Then one day, she suddenly had no trouble looking around and merely held her head high. What a mystery babies are!

hi parents be patient,Babies are initially born with a grasping reflex, but it takes time for their coordination and muscle control to mature enough for dangling objects and shake toys
