My daughter’s blue eyes have persisted since she was ten months old. The fact that my spouse and I have dark brown eyes really astounds me. My spouse’s family is Latin American, and they all have dark brown eyes, unlike my mother who has blue eyes. I was just wondering whether other people have experienced the same thing as I had heard that color normally solidifies in nine months! Of course, it doesn’t matter what hue they choose. Nothing can take away from her beauty. The world of genetics is amazing!
It’s been about a year now, and I have to admit that his eyes have remained essentially the same hue throughout.
When my baby girl was born, her eyes were black and alien-looking. After six months, they brightened blue and were lighter. Even at 2.5 years old, she still has her dad’s vivid blue eyes. My dad’s eyes are blue-grey, but mine are hazel.
My infant shares my dark, alien-like eyes. My eyes are black, not brown, as I like to think of them. My husband’s eyes are blue. The infant is nine weeks old. They seem to be going from light to brown. If they continued to be as black as mine, I’d be amazed. Being Indian, I don’t think they’re going any lighter than brown.
When mine was born, she had shark eyes, but after two or three weeks, they brightened up to look like mine. She’s just been blue for five months, so hopefully they last.
