I’m a new dad. Our baby was born premature at 35 weeks and is now 8 weeks old. The hospital started her on Enfamil premie formula, which was tough on her stomach but helped her gain weight. We noticed she became gassy. After a few weeks, the doctor switched her to Enfamil NeuroPro regular, and she got even more gassy, fussy, and had more spit-ups. Then we tried Enfamil Gentlease, but she was very uncomfortable on that one. Yesterday, we switched to Similac Sensitive 360 after learning about palm oil and different ingredients. Last night and this morning, she had spit-ups that looked like curdled milk. Any suggestions or advice?

Hello! Congratulations on your new child! It sounds as though she may be allergic or sensitive to anything. See your child’s physician about experimenting with a hypoallergenic formula. Moreover, feed her more often in smaller amounts and ensure that she finishes her meals upright. Wishing you luck!
