I’m trying to find some more books to add to the infant library that aren’t religious. I have the necessities, such the Giving Tree and the Clyde Monster, and I recently ordered the Very Busy Spider, the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Good Night Moon, but I’m hoping to expand. That’s not my dinosaur. Which ones are your favorites? I’m open to anything as long as it has nothing to do with praying to god or being one of those novels that disparage the LGBT community.
The vibrant and adorable giraffes can’t dance
We adore everything Sandra Boynton has ever done, but right now our favorites are The Barnyard Dance and Your Personal Penguin.
As a mother, Moo Baa Lalala was the first book I committed to memory. She is so successful in all she does.
I remember getting Your Nose! when I was pregnant. At first, I was like, ‘What is this?!’ But after having my baby, I realized the magic of reading it with a fun tone and lots of enthusiasm. Now, Snuggle Puppy is my favorite, and I give it to all new moms I know.
We read Snuggle Puppy on a daily basis in our home! It’s funny that my spouse and I composed completely different songs for it to sing; I wonder how everyone else’s sounds.
Well, I never considered that! The OOOOoooooOooOooOooOoo~ I LOVE YOU makes me go crazy!
