When did you get your first intentional hug from your infant/toddler? I get lots of grabs from my little girl , but nothing that feels like an intentional hug yet
Aww, I remember that moment! I got my first real hug from my little guy around 10 months. Before that, it was all grabs and wiggles, haha. One day, he just wrapped his tiny arms around me and squeezed.
I came on a girls face on a first date once, I think you’ll be fine with a lil hug lol
My son has only recently begun to embrace in any way, and he is over 15 months old. When I say embrace, I mean that he will lean into you rather than encircling you with his arms, etc. Not a huge concern! Everybody learns at a different speed.
On there first that i met them, i gave them there first hug.
That your youngster is beginning to embrace in his own manner is wonderful to hear! Since every child develops at a different rate, it’s great that you’re acknowledging and encouraging his particular path. It’s a major step for him to lean in for an embrace, and with time, he’ll continue to mature and create his own unique affectionate approach. It’s true what they say: each learns at a different pace.
@Jackson_smith I think this is going to be my gal
