What is the best diaper rash cream you have used?

My 10-week-old has her first diaper rash. I initially tried Tubby Todd All Over Ointment because it helped with her baby acne and cradle cap, but it ended up irritating her skin badly.

She screamed after a few seconds of applying it, so I quickly wiped it off with a warm washcloth. I feel awful about it and have decided not to use Tubby Todd again.

I’m now hesitant to try anything else, so I’ve just patted her skin dry and put on a diaper without any cream. I found some Aquaphor diaper cream designed for sensitive skin, which I plan to use at the next diaper change.

Do you have any recommendations for the best diaper cream, especially for sensitive skin?

My pediatrician suggested Triple Paste Diaper Rash cream. It’s available on Amazon, though it’s pricey. It’s noticeably thicker compared to other diaper rash creams I’ve tried.

Without a doubt, Destin is the greatest. To assist apply it without getting it all over yourself, purchase a Bum brush as well.

As a new parent, I’ve done extensive research on the best diaper rash creams and have personally found the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Maximum Strength Diaper Rash Cream to be the most effective. With 40% zinc oxide as the active ingredient, it quickly soothes and heals even the most stubborn diaper rashes on my baby. I appreciate that it’s free of fragrances, parabens, and other harsh chemicals that could further irritate my little one’s sensitive skin. The thick, creamy texture is easy to apply and stays put, even through diaper changes. I also like that Boudreaux’s is recommended by paediatricians and has a long history of safely treating diaper rash. Compared to other creams I’ve tried, Boudreaux’s provides the fastest relief and most lasting protection against future flare-ups. As a busy parent, I’m grateful to have found a diaper rash cream that works so well for my baby.
