What happened to the tub pooper?

About a year ago, when our LO was still a newborn, I read an article about a family whose child would poop every time they put them in the water. Like, every time.

I informed my husband about the story, and we talk about it frequently. Every night at bath time, we wonder, “Will it happen to us tonight?” And then we wonder how the parents are doing.

So, wherever you are, tub-pooper parents. We hope you are doing well. Thank you for the laughs we’ve shared at your expense. :poop:

My baby does this on occasion. He has gotten to the point where he says “poop” when he sits in the bath, so I got him a little potty. Tonight, he said poop during his bath, so we got him out and showed him his potty; he studied it thoroughly while sat on the bathmat :skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones: It’s not nice, but it is progress.

So close and yet so far away :rofl:

Look intently into your eyes “poop”

Thank you. This is so amazing, I’m crying out laughing.

Mine waited till 13 months to poop in the bathtub. A really humbling experience for everyone concerned.

My 15-month-old has pooped in the tub several times, and once at approximately 8 months after a bath, when I let him air out, he was crawling around with a trail of rabbit turds trailing him.

I frequently let my nearly 8-meter air out; now I have a new dread awakened.

Should 8 months have solid poops? Lol

Won’t it depend on how they handle solids and what they’ve eaten?

Same! And it was diarrhea

Same. What a shock that was. It has happened a few times since then, and I would prefer that he done it when he was an infant.

My 20-month-old has recently started doing this on his own. It wasn’t fun. When this happens, whoever is giving him the bath screams CODE BROWN, and all hands are on deck.
