What Are the Best Baby Shoes for Early Walkers?

Hey friends, winter’s coming and it’s gonna be chilly and wet, but I don’t want that to stop our little one from getting her stand-and-step game on outdoors. She’s already pulling up on everything and I’ve got a hunch she’ll be walking by the time the snow hits.

So, what kicks did you guys find for your kiddos? They’ve gotta be light and bendy, right? But wow, the choices are endless! Hit me up with your faves and the ones to steer clear of, will ya?

P.S. Thanks a ton for the advice! We’re aiming to let her go barefoot as much as we can, but for those times she’s eager to toddle around outside in the cold, we’ll need to protect those tiny toes. It won’t be an everyday thing, but I don’t want to keep her indoors all season long. Looks like SKR and Stride Rite are the crowd favorites, huh?

Hey, we’ve got a pair of Stride Rites and a bunch of See Kai Run shoes. The SKRs are awesome, though they do hit the wallet a bit harder.

When you’re picking out shoes, go for ones that are super bendy like, you should be able to fold them into a ‘U’ shape. And make sure they’ve got a roomy toe box. If it looks as narrow as the heel part, that’s a no-go.

You seem to be doing a fantastic job striking a balance between cozying up your child and exploring the outside! For aspiring walkers, flexible and lightweight shoes like Stride Rite and SKR are great options. Just make sure they are traction-enhancing and waterproof on days when it snows. Allowing her to go barefoot indoors is also good for her growth.

I suggest the Stride Rite Soft Motion Zips Runner Sneaker: Perfect for little ones prone to warm feet, these sneakers are crafted for both comfort and breathability.

The best baby shoes for early walkers are typically lightweight, flexible, with non-slip soles, and have room for natural foot movement and growth.
