Looking for Lullaby Suggestions

Hey fellow parents,

I’m on the hunt for some new lullabies to sing to my little one to help them drift off to sleep, especially during those tough witching hour moments. Right now, I have a few go-to songs, but I’d love to add some fresh, calming tunes to my rotation.

What do you sing to your baby to get them to sleep? I’m open to anything—traditional lullabies, soft pop songs, or even something a bit different as long as it’s soothing.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions! Looking forward to adding some new favorites to our bedtime routine.

My son finds my singing hilarious, so we skip the bedtime songs😂

My favorite lullaby was one that my mother, who had a great singing voice, used to sing to me when I was very young. I believe it was called “Lalloo”. I recall the following quote: “The fairies will kiss you after daylight has passed.” I will open the window so that no one misses you. They will collect beautiful flowers along mystical streams and leave you with a posy of dreams. Lalloo, lalloo-o. Now sleep, pretty one. The white daisies will sleep all night, as will the golden buttercups. “Lalloo, lalloo-oo.”
