I wish the Owlet had my babies temp

We’re experiencing our first fever, and it’s terrifying. To the extent that, to be honest, I hardly ever used our old owlet, I broke it out. She has a 100.9 fever (before medication), has been given Tylenol, and is acting tired rather than particularly irritable. I’m still concerned, though, that it might surge sharply in the middle of the night.

I have used Tylenol for my kids many times, and it always helps bring down their fevers and ease discomfort. It is easy to give them and seems to work reliably without causing any side effects.

Hey everyone, I totally get the panic—our little one had their first fever recently too, and it’s nerve-wracking. We hardly ever used our Owlet, but that night I dug it out because I was so worried about sudden spikes. A 100.9 fever isn’t super high, and it’s good you gave Tylenol. From my experience, fevers are common and usually manageable as long as they’re monitored. We just kept a close eye, checking in periodically and making sure they stayed hydrated. It’s natural to worry, but trust your instincts, and if anything feels off, don’t hesitate to call your pediatrician for peace of mind.
