In a bubblegum tree. Since parenting my newborn, this song has been by far my favorite. Are there any other decent ones out there?
And STOMP STOMP
Plays in my brain all day.
Also down by the bay lol, my LO likes it when I sing that one to him.
My spouse is randomly wandering around the house saying “STOML STOMP STOMP” .
This was me. It is still me
It’s very addicting! Lol
The instrumental after the elephant song is a smash!
This post brought me back to when my kid was a newborn. That music is so strongly associated with a particular period in my life that I can nearly taste it.
My baby is only 19 months old, but I really miss the potato time!
I also appreciate Ludacris’ version of Llama Llama Red Pajama. I’ve hit this in my car a few times.
Ooh my God! this is great
That one (purple monkey in a bubble gum tree) made me cry the first time I heard it because I understood it to mean that you, my little one, can swing through life, but I’ll always be there when you’re ready to swing back home.
I dislike the rest of the songs, particularly the stomp stomp stomp one. But, when my husband and I are about to lose it, we’ll just say, “AND I’LL STOMP STOMP STOMP,” and giggle.
This gets stuck in my mind 99 percent of the time! Rock by your bear by the wiggles (or most of the wiggles tunes!) are also fantastic earworms, and my four-month-old likes them .
My husband wondered why I learnt these songs so quickly… it’s because I’m the only one that sits down with the baby to play on the mat. It’s a catchy song. . It made me weep four months ago because I thought it was so cute lol.
My friend’s three-year-old lately became enamored with Fruit Salad by The Wiggles.
This one is still stuck in my head from childhood. .
