How Frequently Should I Change My Baby’s Diaper?

Hello people…I’m a new parent and trying to get a handle on diapering. I’m wondering how frequently I should be changing my baby’s diaper. Is there a general guideline or recommendation for how often to do it, or does it depend on the baby’s age and other factors? Any advice or tips from experienced parents would be really helpful. Thanks in advance…

You should change your baby’s diaper every 2-3 hours during the day, or sooner if it’s dirty. For newborns, they might need changing more often because they tend to go frequently. I remember feeling unsure at first, but keeping an eye on wetness and any signs of irritation helped a lot. You’ll get the hang of it quickly

On being more at ease, I concur. Our child is about seven months old. I was really particular about getting it changed for the first three months or so. Maybe part of the reason for this is that as people become older, they do cease pooping as much. The modern diaper, however, is incredibly absorbent. Their effectiveness is so great that my girl sleeps through the night and her diaper never feels particularly wet.
2 to 3 hours diaper changing its okay.

Change your baby’s diaper every 2-3 hours or as soon as it’s wet or soiled. Frequent changes prevent diaper rash and keep your baby comfortable. Adjust based on your baby’s needs.
