I changed my son’s diaper downstairs on a mat on the couch today, with his legs horizontal to my left, and it seemed like I was driving on the left side of the road LOL (I live in America). I discovered I normally switch him with his head horizontal to the left side of my body and his legs on the right side. It definitely took me longer to complete!
Yes, but since I am right-handed. I change diapers and wipe better with my right hand doing the most of the effort. It’s incredibly tough when he’s resting the other way

This is so interesting because I’m right handed but I always wipe my daughters with my left hand and their head to my right and legs to the left. I’ve tried it the other way and it feels so off to me and I can’t do it . What’s weird is that I also cut my meat like a left handed person but those are the only two areas where my left hand is dominant.
I believe I do better with my dominant hand gripping the legs. Wiping is the easiest part.
Wait, I am precisely the same! The only things I do (or can do) with my left hand are changing and using tableware. So strange!

Yes, I’ve been changing my 15-month-old like this since she was born, just due to the way the change table is organized. I simply cannot change her front on because my brain doesn’t know how to do it lol.
I am right-handed but do many things left-handed. My mother constantly told me about my grandmother correcting me from a young age to exercise my rights.
My wife is the polar opposite of me, with her feet to the left and her head to the right, and we can’t reverse directions.

When my son was a baby, I used to change him this manner (feet looking at me) until I elevated his legs to wipe his buttocks, at which point he produced an explosive dump, covering my face and chest in excrement.

That is a bad incident, and I believe boys are better at pee arcs than girls.
You would be surprised. Girls can also have fantastic pee fountains, as I can regrettably attest to .
I’m not shocked my daughter has had a few pee fountains, but I’ve luckily placed her high on the mat, and they typically go from one side of the mat to the other, but one time it went completely over two mats and onto the carpet
