Has anybody tried the baby sock from Owlet? primarily following the modifications made in 2021

My two children are nine and fifteen years old, and I recall fretting and checking on them frequently. Rather than worrying all the time and having to go check if the baby is moving in her chest, I’m searching for a tiny piece of confidence that will help me sleep better while the baby sleeps. I don’t think there were any of these kinds of goods available when my kids were tiny, but this time I’m hoping to purchase one. What was your impression of the owlet, and are there any other similar goods you would suggest? I would be grateful for any feedback! Since many of my friends and acquaintances are not having children in their 30s, I am at a loss for who else to ask.

We had one but stopped using it. My four-month-old daughter has epilepsy and will experience seizures at night. Seizures lead her to stop breathing and turn blue. The owlet sock has never detected her reduction in oxygen levels as a result of this, but it will set off numerous false alarms, sending me into terrible panic episodes. This is the previous version, with the oxygen and heart rate monitor.
