The recent Halloween post got me thinking - what costumes are you all considering for yourselves and your little ones, or what have you worn in previous years? I could use some inspiration! 
Right now, our plan is for my husband to dress up as Shrek, myself as Lord Farquaad, and our baby as Puss in Boots. Whether it all comes together, we’ll have to wait and see! 
Choosing costumes for Halloween is fun, but we should think about being original and suitable. Dressing up as characters from “Shrek” might not be special, especially for a baby. It’s good to make sure the costumes are comfortable and fit well together. Simple costumes that everyone can enjoy would be better for everyone.

*For little ones: Classic Disney characters are always popular (think Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Elsa, etc.) or fun food-themed costumes (pizza, cupcake, etc.)
I’m considering purchasing a ladybug outfit for my little one. Given our family’s enthusiasm for camping and canoeing, my spouse and I will don our insect-themed shirts and broad-brimmed hats, and we’ll pick up a few kids’ nets from the dollar shop. Our photo concept involves us playfully attempting to ‘capture’ the ladybug with these nets.
