I’m referring to the ones where they can bounce off their feet on the ground and sit in a harness. I had no idea, but I read on Facebook that they’re terrible. Is this really true? I haven’t put my little one in it yet as she’s not old enough, but I think she’d love it.

Yes, baby jumpers can potentially be harmful if used improperly or for too long. They may affect a baby’s development if used excessively, but in moderation and under supervision, they can be safe and fun.

There has been some concern about the potential risks associated with baby jumpers, but whether they are harmful depends on various factors, including how they are used and the individual baby’s development.

They are good since babies have relatively large heads compared to their bodies, and their neck muscles are not fully developed. This makes head injuries common when using a door frame jumper. Excessive swinging can also strain their necks. Using a stationary jumper is a safer option.
